The Drone Safety Team (DST) is a government/industry partnership chartered by the FAA and is co-led by Jeffrey Vincent, the Director of the FAA’s UAS Integration Office, and Dallas Brooks of Wing. The purpose of the DST is to “ensure the safe operations of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) in the National Airspace System (NAS).”
Following a successful reboot at the 2023 Commercial UAV Expo, the DST has re-structured our working groups to be responsive to relevant and current issues that directly address drone safety and continued integration into the NAS.
